What if Alex created a reality show?
Master of the Mix was a nationally televised DJ competition show for Smirnoff Vodka.
I worked on the show for 3 full seasons, from its inception until the end of the program.
Some of my roles included:
Art Direction/Graphic Design/Design Production: Direction for core branded assets used for all consumer touchpoints including print, OOH, POS, digital, social, experiential, PR, package design and more
Writing: Show name, episodes, scripted contestant challenges, judging criteria, drink names, ad headlines
Show Production: Casting suggestions, set design consultation, wardrobe, on-screen graphics, and more
Results:
Season 1:
600,000 viewers per episode,
6.2 million for the season.
Season 2:
1.2 million viewers per episode,
11 million for the season.
Season 3:
1.6 million viewers per episode,
16 million for the season.
We exceeded expectations for ratings goals from network partners and client, trended organically, and broadened the reach of the program well beyond our target demographic with over 400 million impressions and counting.
